Alternate Take lays down some infectious Latin grooves with some swinging blues thrown in.  The band is comprised of Avery Cooper on flute and alto sax, Ted Perry on piano, Sean Walkama - bass, Clarence Davis - congas,  Dwight Ritcher - drums, David Marchant - vibes.  The band covers tunes of Cal Tjader, Claire Fischer, Ray Barretto, Poncho Sanchez and of or pianist Ted Perry. Bring your dance shoes, as it’s hard to sit still to the Latin rhythms, especially when the band gets cooking.
