Inseldudler is a highly popular, traditional German band based in Chittenden county. They are celebrating 25 years of making music together, growing from their humble beginnings playing polkas at Applefests in South Hero in 2001 (hence their name translating to “Island Tooters”)
The group is now a staple of the New England autumn season, specializing in traditional German folk music, including lively polkas, waltzes, and classic beer-hall anthems.
The band brings authentic Bavarian energy to their shows, complete with traditional lederhosen & dirndls, brass instruments, and interactive crowd engagement. They perform a mix of energetic accordion, brass, and percussion arrangements designed to get crowds swaying, clinking steins, and dancing the polka.
